Thank You from Chaddock

Excerpts from note from Chaddock: Thank you so much for the Christmas gifts you gave during this holiday season……. Most of our children have spent their early years in homes with adults who are at best unable to care for their needs, or worse, may even be dangerous to their well-being. Opening your gifts is a tangible and memorable way for our children to realize that there are many caring adults in the world, like you, who gave them gifts even though you do not know them personally. The simple message is that they are important enough to receive your care and attention, and it is a powerful step in their healing process. Neither the children nor the staff at Chaddock will forget your kindness…..Debbie Reed (President/CEO) and Jeff VanCamp (Director of Development)

Urgent Need for Flood Buckets or monetary donations

The Midwest Missions Distribution Center, a caring ministry of the United Methodist Church, is requesting donations to help victims of disaster.  Monetary donations or supplies bought through the “DollarDays” link on the MMDC website would be the best way to donate, as they are shipped directly to MMDC at the Center’s bulk prices.   Monetary donations may be sent to:  MMDC at PO Box 56 in Chatham, IL  62629.  For more information about the Distribution Center, you may go to the website:  www.midwestmissiondc.org, or office@midwestmissiondc.org or phone 217-483-7911
